Section 12
Work, Duties and Powers of the District Youth Committee
The work, duties and powers of the District Youth Committee shall be as follows:
(a) Designing and conducting district-level plans and programs related to youth under the policy approved by the Council,
(b) To conduct various youth-related programs at the district level in partnership with local bodies, youth-related associations, organizations, non-governmental organizations and the private sector,
(c) Coordinating and facilitating youth-related programs conducted at the local level (d) Gathering resources at the local level to conduct youth-related programs (e) Conducting various programs aimed at the youth of special communities (f) To do the work as prescribed by the Council.
